To the family of Kathy Wicks:
I read about Kathy's demise in the Toledo Blade. I am so sorry for your loss. Kathy and I attended Central Catholic High School, we were in the same graduating class. She was a very outgoing person always with a smile on her face, never judgmental and very kind. Hoping you are able to find some peace with each new day.
We are so sorry to hear of your Mom and sisters passing. I have such good memories from when we were very small growing up on Monterey Court.
All of you will be in our prayers!
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I knew your mother through Stephen Ministry, CRHP and bible studies at SLDM. She was a wonderful lady, loved hearing her stories! She will be missed!
Chris and Trish, we are so sorry to hear about Kathy’s passing. Cancer is a terrible thing isn’t it? We hope the funeral goes well. You will be in our thoughts and prayers
I knew Kathy from working with her at Square D Company. She was a wonderful person. RIP Kathy.
Kelly, I'm so sorry for the loss of your mom. We met through CRHP, and then continued to see each other at bible studies. Kathleen always sat at my table and when I would start the sessions, she would say, "Good morning, teacher," just as sweet and sarcastic as you can imagine. And she always had a big stack of tissues.
I always picture Kathleen in pink. She looks beautiful in the picture you chose.
I will miss her tremendously. Kathleen, may the angels greet you in paradise.
I met Kathleen at KBA where her office was right outside my office. Of course we talked everyday all day and made work fun. We got through her various health issues together during this time and became very close buddies as a result.
After I retired, we still remained close, going to lunch each month, having our one adult beverage, and catching up as we talked for hours. I always looked forward to her stories about her family...whom she obviously loved so much. I especially enjoyed the ones about her mom. What a lady she must have been. Probably a lot like Kathleen herself.
When I developed my own health issues, Kathleen was the one person of all my friends who understood the fear and pain I was going through since she’d been there herself. She always knew what to say and how to help me cope. I couldn’t have gotten through those times without her.
I will miss you terribly, Kathleen. But...now that you’ve gone before me...I’m holding you to your promise to pull me up through the clouds of heaven. I know you’ll be there, and you know I need all the pulling I can get!
To Kelly, your mom was a wonderful woman: competent, smart, strong, friendly, loyal, and fun. She loved you more than anyone in the world. I know you’ll miss her, but she won’t be gone. Her love and influence will live in you, dear girl.
This saddens my heart greatly. Kathleen was my favorite walk buddy friend at Key Benefit. She was always good for a story or strong opinion on any number of subjects. I have missed her very much since her retirement. I remember when she would sit and cover breaks at the front desk reception, she would always pull up the live stream feed of Old Faithful so she could watch it erupt.
I hope the family finds peace in this tough time. Much Love,
I'm going too miss our conversations, your laugh, and all the time I got to spend with you at the "conservative table" at Christmases:)
To Kelly: I'm so sorry for the loss of your Mom. You know you can call me if you need anything. Love you cousin.
I just love you so much.
