To our family: we send our deepest condolences regarding the passing of your mother and grandmother, our Aunt Mary. Even though our hearts are sad, we are joyous that she is at peace with God, back with family and friends, and especially reunited with her husband. Nothing can ever fill that void of losing our parents; may their everlasting love, spirit and wonderful memories help in some way provide some peace of mind. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Much love to you always.
Aunt Mary was one of my favorite aunts. I loved visiting with her as a child, and John and I have so many wonderful memories of all the fun that we had when we went to see Aunt Mary and Uncle Art at Lake Glen Flint.
John had thought that there was nothing better than his Mom's ham and beans until he tried Aunt Mary's 15 bean soup!
Aunt Mary was one of the sweetest and friendliest people that I know.
She will be missed.
My condolences to Rolanda, Chantel, Darian and Devon, also Jason, Aunt Mary was very kind and beautiful aunt. She was a very good seamstress, she made me very many beautiful things. Her and Uncle Art took me to Michigan on a camping trip when I was a teenager and I helped watch Rolanda and Gery. Many fond memories of trips to her house and lake house. May she rest in peace.
I have so many fond memories of Aunt Mary from our many celebrations at Grandma and Grandpa's on Burroughs Street to birthday parties on Indian Lake Rd. All the fun times when we visited Glen Flint, Aunt Mary also made everyone feel so welcomed. Before her health took a turn for the worst my sister Eve and I would pick Aunt Mary at her Westfield house and eat dinner then attend a Sheridan football game. During many of those football games she would elbow me and say why do you think Bud made that call but after the game she always gave Bud a hug and never a word about those calls!! LOL She said she loved football and she would go watch her brothers Bob and Jim games at Lafayette Jeff.
Rolanda and family I hope your wonderful memories will help you get through this difficult time.
